Acne Treatment
Acne is a common inflammatory skin condition, but its impact often goes far beyond what’s visible. For many people, it affects confidence and self-esteem.
As a recognised specialist in acne treatment, I understand both the physical and emotional sides of the condition. You may feel as though you’ve tried everything and aren’t sure where to turn next, but I can help you understand what’s causing your acne and how to treat it.
Acne develops for many reasons, and there is rarely a single cause. That’s why a one-size-fits-all approach doesn’t work. Instead, we need to look at the bigger picture, beyond visible symptoms to your overall health, lifestyle, and genetics. This helps us understand what may be contributing to your acne and how best to treat it.
My background in psychology also influences how I manage acne. I recognise the close connection between skin conditions and mental wellbeing, and I always take time to understand the wider impact acne may be having on your life.
Helping you get your acne under control so you can feel comfortable and confident in your own skin is very important to me. Any treatment plan will be evidence-based, tailored to your skin, and realistic to follow.
Treatment options may include topical treatments, hormonal therapies, oral medications, or isotretinoin, where appropriate. If isotretinoin is recommended, care is monitored with regular digital check-ins, allowing treatment to be adjusted.
