Feel Confident in Your Skin
I’m Dr Hayley Smith, a Consultant Dermatologist in Leeds. I can help you understand, care for and feel confident in your skin, with personalised, evidence based treatment and advice.
A holistic approach to dermatology
Our skin provides valuable insights into what’s happening beneath the surface, reflecting wider aspects of our health and wellbeing. By taking the time to assess the skin carefully and with specialist expertise, I consider concerns in their full context rather than viewing them in isolation.
As a Consultant Dermatologist, I take a thoughtful and thorough approach to each person’s skin - whether I’m assessing a skin lesion, managing acne or other skin conditions, or offering guidance on prevention and early detection. Looking beyond what’s immediately visible allows me to address current concerns and support long-term skin health.
If you have a specific skin concern, are seeking reassurance, or are looking for advice on prevention, I’ll help you make informed, evidence-based choices so you can feel confident, supported and comfortable in your own skin.
Expertise & Treatments
I work across all areas of dermatology, with a particular focus on:
Assessment of new and changing moles and lesions, with clear advice on monitoring, investigation, or treatment.
Moles & Lesions
Acne Treatment
Support for persistent acne and other ongoing skin concerns, to manage flare-ups and understand the underlying cause.
General Dermatology
Diagnosis and management of a wide range of skin and hair conditions, alongside consultant-led skin surgery where needed.
Aesthetics & Skin Longevity
Aesthetic treatments and skin longevity support, for a proactive and preventative approach to long-term skin health.
How I work
I’m a consultant dermatologist with experience across both the NHS and private sector, including clinics at Nuffield Health in Leeds.
The treatment and advice I offer are always based on solid evidence and real clinical experience. I don’t follow trends unless they’re proven to work, and I’m honest about what will help, what won’t, and when doing less is the best option for you.
Alongside my medical degree, I also have a degree in psychology, which helps me take a thoughtful, whole-person approach to care.
